Welcome to the Modern Day Slave portal (“Website” and “App”). By accessing or using this portal, you (“User,” “You”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately. The portal is owned and operated by Modern Day Slave Initiative, a registered NGO/organization (“We,” “Us,” “Our”).

1. Eligibility

  1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the portal.
  2. Users under 18 must have consent from a parent/guardian.
  3. You confirm all registration details you provide are accurate and up to date.

2. Services Provided

The portal provides, but is not limited to:

  • Access to the Modern Day Slave book and related resources.
  • Registration for the Anti-SMUB Test and issuance of digital certificates.
  • Participation in workshops, events, and training programs.
  • Donations and contributions to support our NGO activities.
  • Access to community forums, corporate partnership listings, and CSR updates.

3. Registration and Accounts

  1. To access certain features (e.g., test, certificate, login dashboard), you must create an account with a valid email and phone number.
  2. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  3. We may suspend or terminate accounts if fraudulent, misleading, or harmful activity is detected.

4. Anti-SMUB Test and Certificates

  1. The Anti-SMUB test is an AI-powered self-assessment tool for educational and personal development purposes only.
  2. Test results and certificates are not medical diagnoses and do not replace professional medical or psychological advice.
  3. Certificates are provided for motivational and professional development use, including CVs and job applications.
  4. Employers, schools, or third parties using certificates do so at their own discretion. We accept no liability for hiring, admission, or evaluation decisions based on results.
  5. Each certificate carries a unique ID/QR code for authenticity. Misuse, alteration, or forgery is strictly prohibited.

5. Book Purchases and Donations

  1. Purchases (physical or digital) are subject to availability.
  2. All book sales are final unless defective or incorrectly supplied.
  3. Donations are voluntary and non-refundable; receipts are emailed.
  4. We use third-party processors and are not liable for their errors or delays.

6. Workshops, Events, and CSR Programs

  1. Events may be online or in-person, subject to availability.
  2. Fees (if any) must be paid in full prior to attendance.
  3. We may reschedule/cancel events; refunds/credits may apply.
  4. CSR listings are based on partner commitments; we do not guarantee performance or accuracy of third-party partners.

7. Intellectual Property

  1. All portal content (text, graphics, images, videos, logos, software, and course materials) is our intellectual property unless stated otherwise.
  2. You may not copy, modify, or distribute content without written consent.
  3. “SMUB (Social Media Universal Bondage)” is a proprietary concept and may not be used commercially without authorization.

8. User Conduct

  • No posting of harmful, defamatory, offensive, or illegal content.
  • No misuse of workshops, forums, or test certificates.
  • No hacking, disrupting, or reverse-engineering the platform.
  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

  1. We collect/process data per our Privacy Policy.
  2. Test results, certificates, and personal data remain private unless you choose to share them.
  3. We use encryption and best practices, but cannot guarantee 100% security of information transmitted online.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

  1. The portal may link to third-party sites or services.
  2. We are not responsible for their content, security, or practices.
  3. Your interactions with third parties are at your own risk.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  1. All services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  2. We do not guarantee specific outcomes (e.g., jobs, productivity, opportunities).
  3. We are not responsible for data loss or technical failures.
  4. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid (if any) for services in the preceding 12 months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Modern Day Slave Initiative, its directors, staff, and partners from claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the portal, test, or certificates.

13. Suspension and Termination

  1. We may suspend/terminate accounts for breach of Terms.
  2. Fraudulent or abusive activity may lead to removal.
  3. Upon termination, you must cease using services and destroy any downloads.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page; your continued use constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
